MAP is a strategic communications consultancy working at the intersection of people, place and culture.

We chart new territory in how we deliver for our clients and what we bring to each and every collaboration.

Where we work

Whether building on groundbreaking new concepts; elevating the legacy of a cherished institution; or shaping the narratives of dynamic cities, regions or countries – we thrive on working with people and projects that offer new models for living.

How we work

We have a distinct process for delivering for our clients: a structured yet dynamic and ideas-driven way of working, pegged to three interlocking strands.

1: Orientate

Discover your destination

Well-shaped ideas, placed in their broader context, are at the root of every successful communications strategy. That’s why we invest significant time and effort in helping you think about and articulate your organisation or project before deploying any communication tactics.

2: Navigate

Create the roadmap

We take an expansive approach to communication, drawing on the experience of our multifaceted careers. With carefully thought-out tactics and creative thinking front and centre, we tailor our strategic plan to what’s most effective in getting you to your destination.

3: Activate

Deliver the plan

We offer support across all marcomms functions and in many different fields, from advising organisations and businesses in times of change to delivering integrated communications campaigns. Hands-on and collegiate, we roll out the roadmap to achieve strong results, while making the journey insightful and enjoyable.

From digital transformers, creative designers and executive producers, to international curators, business developers and commercial partnership brokers - if we don’t have expertise in a particular area we know someone who does.

We put the most suitable and experienced professionals together as needed for each project, drawing on our network of trusted experts we have worked with in the course of our careers.

  • “As we have developed our cultural strategy for Thamesmead, MAP have been with us every step of the way, helping us tell the story of this unique town and its people. Not only by placing great coverage, but always being there with great advice and fresh thinking on ways to take things further.”

  • “Miles and Helena are consummate connectors of people and ideas. Their ability to connect ideas to the broader cultural landscape definitely takes things beyond the traditional role of PR.”

Bryn Ormrod | Consultant Creative Producer, Edinburgh International Festival | Creative Producer, Barbican Centre
